After quite a few years of creating spirits (nearly 20!!) and winning awards for our creations, there is still always huge excitement and pride throughout the distillery when a product wins any award.
From the seed of an idea for a new release, to the development and creation by our hard working production team, to the label design and then the very first sale – it excites and motivates and makes the whole process feel enormously worthwhile; like a lovely, big pat on the back.
This awards season, our ‘new’ (released in December 2021) Sloe Gin with Elderberry and our popular Cherry Brandy both won Gold Stars at the Great Taste Awards 2022. Extremely pleasing, particularly as liqueurs season is not far away… Right now, quite hard to imagine sitting by a roaring fire and sipping a tot of Sloe Gin as we swelter through the heatwave and sip refreshing G&T’s!
