It’s new! It’s gorgeous! It’s perfect for summer – say hello to Hedgerow Strawberry!

Hedgerow Strawberry is a limited-edition, vodka-based product made with Annabel’s Deliciously British Yorkshire Strawberries, a perfect collaborative product for this time of year. Annabel’s amazingly, delicious strawberries are grown only 30 miles from the Distillery and we only use the “wonky” fruit which might otherwise go to waste.

It’s a delightfully light, fresh and fruity tipple, best served with tonic or a mixer such as sparkling Elderflower. It is also a great addition to a summer fruit punch; and at 30% is lower in alcohol than most other spirits but still big on a fruity strawberry taste!

We’re launching this gorgeous new spirit at one of the UK’s biggest free food festivals which is returning at the end of this month – May 27th and 28th 2023. Malton Food Lovers Festival takes place in our local town, dubbed ‘Yorkshire’s Food Capital’ and is renowned as one of Britain’s top foodie destinations. The Malton Food Lovers Festival is a celebration of Yorkshire’s finest produce and cooking. The Festival takes place across various streets in the town and there’s a Festival Map which shows all the stall and event locations. Expect to find artisan stalls, delicious street food, talks, tastings, celebrity chefs, demonstrations, live music, a festival bar and, of course, us!

Sloemotion Distillery will be there with our stand to showcase all our fabulous Hedgerow Spirits and Liqueurs. You’ll be able to meet the makers, sample our gorgeous products and then buy a bottle – or two – to take home! We also have a pop-up bar in the Milton Rooms on the Saturday and Sunday. On the Saturday night we’re joining in the Caribbean Calling party being organised by Brass Castle Brewery.
