NEW SUSTAINABILITY AWARD
We were totally delighted to end the year by receiving a Special Commendation in the Sustainability category at The Drinks Business Green Awards 2021 - we felt very honoured to be recognised for our sustainability efforts that happen every day at our distillery, and many have done since Day One, nearly 20 years ago. A number of the prize winners were international large vineyards, wineries, breweries etc so for us to receive a Special Commendation meant a great deal. Claire from our Marketing team went to collect the award at the live-ceremony held at The Ivy in Covent Garden.
As Editor in Chief, Patrick Schmitt remarked; "the judges were particularly impressed at the quality of the entries this year....with one judge declaring this to be the best ever set of entries he's seen in this long-running awards."
